thank you for your support last week everyone, my body is behaving and handling the 7mg patches now. I am thinking of dealing with the weight gain before it gets out of hand. I have a condition called scoliosis, it is a disease which causes the spine to curve instead of growing straight. Mine is in my lower back and makes walking really sore if I do to much and limits the exercises I can do. I can swim though so I am off to the local pool next week to find out the costs etc. Have a great weekend and be safe and smoke free.xxx
Living my grandaughters and my dream...she asked me to quit my first quit and its just sheer bliss to be free of that nicotine addiction.Never let your guard down some days can be tough push through them ....praise yourself....Have a wonderful day.

Smokefree days: 365
Total savings: $7,925 Well there are the stats i did it made my 365 days with not one puff ever...Yes in the beginning it was so dam hard and i thought i would crack up or kill someone i was so emotional and angry,ha now that seems so weird it didnt last long the worst was over in a week and after the first month i was the quitter i always wanted to be...I used all the tools in the box thanks to quit line after all i had smoked since i was 14 years old so that was 48long stupid wasted years,so i had some gum the patches the lozenges and got a nicotene free vape,i walked miles kept super busy cleaning read did jigsaws danced swam anything to distract my hands and brain and hey it worked, here i am at age 64 finally a non smoker...Got a lot of good advice from great people on the blogs when i had trouble with leg cramps mood swings and not sleeping but believe me these things are all temporary and you can all suceed and become smoke free...Just got back from a great holiday in Sydney loved being able to fly without fretting about having a and stay in a hotel room and go to a show etc etc without the thought of getting out for a puff, and i can say i havnt missed not having to go out side in a cold marlborough frost to forefill my craving..Anyway guys and gals just touching base to let you all know i am super duper and full of beans and hey remember if i can quit after nearly fifty years of trying then you can too..Also even though we all say not one puff ever i decided that im maybe going to have a quick smoke on my 100th birthday and a bottle of whiskey too that should finsh me off.........TTFN and go well Trish....
Again I am going to come to the defence of Quitline. There appears to be a concerted attack and people departing with a huge fanfare-not helpful in my view.
I have no issues getting on. I have no issues with blogs posting. Maybe try windows10-it is not that expensive to buy and easy to upload. Works for me.
What disappoints me is that the people who are leaving seem to be forgetting what Quitline is about-it is not for any one blogger but for the community of bloggers. To help each other out.
Give this new site a chance. It is here to stay.
So here is my message to people who are about to start their quit or have recently stopped smoking. Stay with this site. Ignore the negative messages about how bad some people say it is and embrace the positive influence the support of others on this site bring to you. I have no intention to leave this site and will continue to support anyone who comes on.
