Just checking in to see how everyone is doing post lockdown. It was a crazy term for me at school. Murphy’s law, first weekend of the holidays and I’m as sick as a dog. One of my kids was sick for the past 2 weeks (not Covid) and now I have it. The head cold has moved to my chest and I’m hacking like I smoke a pack a day. It’s times like these that I’m so glad I don’t smoke anymore.
Hang in there everyone. Just focus literally on one day at a time and never picking up a smoke again. It simply isn’t worth it.
Went to hypnotist yesterday at 2.30 wanted a smoke after i came out although he is reputable and helped my partner daughter be smokefree. Havnt had a smoke yet been hard tho. Bought a small bottle of no nicotine vape juice as ive been a vapour before. Berry flavour not tobacco. I figure its better to have a non nicotine vape than light up while im struggling thru the cravings. How long do the cravings last?
My Quit day was on Wednesday 1 July 2020. All set with my Habitrol Lozenges. With some eliquid left in my vape the day before, I thought I would finish it off.
Then quit day came; I had left my vape by the bedside so when I woke up it was the first thing I grabbed for. So now 2 days of vaping but it was all 0mg nicotine so I am not so disappointed. Now on to the lozenges.
