Smokefree days: 2,993
Total savings: $41,806

I had every intention on holding off this blog, until next week-when I hit the 3's. All about excitement etc...for the cruise at Easter.
With this world in turmoil & Our borders closed (rightly so) this wonderful self-gift is not going to happen. Yeah, sure I'm disappointed-but happily safe, at home.
When Our alert level was lifted to 2, it confirmed my emotions-I cannot continue to work in my current environment, so, I've just left a meeting with my boss. Tearful& blubbering, with no Hugs😢😔 So, I need to use this next while, constructively. Chosen to resurrect my love of Craft & shall be 'inventing' a jersey/jumper/tunic in crochet cotton 10ply. No pattern, just emotive creation!
Bit like Quitting, really! And when that gets 'long winded' I shall be here, in the Blogs, cheering You all on!! Let's see how this next 7days goes-never know, might be my 1st avatar to share with You.
Stay strong ppls thru this next few months. For those that feel strong in Your Quits, revisit Your reasons & reaffirm Your desire to remain so...
Covid 19 WILL NOT bring me down!!

First of all Congratulations on your amazing stats. Well done!!
So sorry about your cruise. Are you able to take it later? As you say, better safe and sound at home for now.
    Your job- Oh so sad.
The worst part of all this is the Hugs. Or should I say No Hugs. There's nothing like a hug to endorse so many emotions. Happiness, sadness, grief, sorrow, pleased to see you etc...
I miss hugs so much and its only been a couple of days.
Love your resourcefullness, already looking for a diversion. Well done nanaturtle.
    Be strong- Keep smiling .
Cyber hugs for now. We can get real hugs back once this over- and it will pass.

Thank you nanaturtle. With the lockdown looming we all may have more time on our hands to blog and comment.

Sorry to hear about your cruise but looking forward to hearing about the knitting progress!

We are closing down tomorrow but covid will not defeat any of us. Stay strong-thank you again.

Sorry to hear about your cruise, but really glad your not on one, as the cruising company are getting hit really bad (incubators for this nasty virus), your health and hubbies are more important. Take care and I may pop in ore over the next 4 weeks due to the lockdown on my work.

    Hi NanaT
    Wow.. A W E S O M E Stats there Nana.
over 8yrs free, now that is a milestone, a very Big one at that too... Congratulations on great stats and now heading for the big even 3000 days 👍 ✔
Unfortunately there are changes worldwide as you know but on the brightside.. you should still be getting paid something which is done via the Govt to employers then onto staff.
Your cruise holiday will has just been moved to another future date, not toally written off and im sure it'll give you more time to save for even more spending money at the ports you'll be calling in.
In the meantime I guess we'll all be practising self-isolation which could be like staying in a cabin on a ship. Eeekkkk 😏 🛳
Our health & safety from the Rona virus is the biggest factor at present which you seem to have all sorted out so chin up, its only a temporary measure. (I hope)

Its possible there could be an increase in memberships here over the next 30 days, who knows & if so.. we'll need your help & support more than ever so No you can't go off on a cruise, you didn't apply for holiday leave from the QuitBlogs. LOL

    Cheers matey. 🍷
