Great decision. Don't be nervous. We all have to start somewhere and the first steps are always the hardest.
It's a good idea to keep your quit to yourself if you feel more comfortable that way.
Keep your eye firmly on your SMOKEFREE goal and give it your best shot.

    Hi Jafalove
    Welcome to the quit blogs
I see you'll be on day 2 by now, hang in there, it can be tough in the 1st week.
Who you tell or don't tell is totally your business - Good on you.
This is the best decision you'll make in 2020.

it takes 72hrs for nicotine to leave the body and that means day 3 is usually the hardest but not neccessarily if you keep your focus.
You are quitting for a reason.
Write those reasons down on paper and stick it on your fridge for 2 weeks.
I'm not going into detail but trust me, it'll help.

    Remember the 4D's
Drink water - sip it don't drown
    Deep breathe
Do something - when craving, do something for 10min
Delay - delay the smoking urge for at least 10min then do what you want

    call quitline on 0800 778-778
Ask for a starter quit pack.

Blog here daily, that means write your struggles in a blog and support others with your positive comments to help them feel stronger, gain knowledge, confidence and thus will help you in your own quit even more so.

Whenever you want to learn more about making this quitting easier, read info at places like this...

    Good on you Jafalove 👍

Morena Jafalove, Welcome to the hottest spot on town👍
Congratulations on Your decision to Quit... no one ever regretted Quitting!
I can understand Your choice to keep Your Quit, to Yourself. This is hugely personal &rightly so. We also understand Your fear...fear of failure, fear of a future You've not experienced for a long time... We get it... we've all been there.
But, it's OK... be sure in Yourself, this is 100% doable & You can achieve SMOKEFREEDOM. Blog for support... whenever. I'm quite sure there will be plenty of supporters 'hanging out' here, for a while...and You're most Welcome to join us 👍
    Deep breath, Fresh air!!
    Go in, all guns blazing....
    Stay Strong 🙂
