Hello first day stop smoking ..not cutting down made a decision to quit ,, tried back in 2006 for 10 months ,, negative thoughts already creeping in decided to check out quit line ,, been 13 hours without a ciggy,, evening time I guess relax time etc maybe change routine or replace that after dinner ciggy with something else little devil on my shoulder needs a flick,,, lol Wearing my patch and not a patch of ash for once .. using gum also trying to stay positive and remember why I decided .. shock therapy works for me lol nasty images of what could be.. 36 years smoking.... now watching my partner go out for a ciggy... TBH day one has gone quite well .. considering I would go into panic mode when I was near the end of my packet ..watching my partner go out for a ciggy .. don't be resentful me lol anyway thanks for listening . hope everyone's journey is going well ….

You've got it right eyes changing your routine will help...also try not to be resentful of partner smoking because you know deep down they don't really want to it's addiction..set the example of being smokefree and they will follow my hubby was still smoking and I never thought I would see the day but he has stopped also...stay strong and you are doing great!!😊👍💪

My husband also smokes and sometimes it's challenging and other times I'm glad I don't smell like an ashtray like he does when he walks through the door... yuck.

    Stay positive :)
