One of the most frustrating things with the quit line program is being strung out with withdrawal symptoms because quit line on many occasions didn't send out the prescription.
Some good advice is to order your patches, lozenges, gum at least one month before you are due to run out, as it can take up to 10 working days to receive the prescription, and if not received and you ring them it can take another 10 days. Because of the lengthy delays getting a prescription from quit line for nicotine replacement product, I was so strung out and ended up smoking again on several occasions which was a real set back.

Asking for and having both gum and lozenges to alternate between helped me more, as it became quite tiresome having just one oral product to use.

Keeping busy and the brain active on things was also a helpful distraction from craving.

Good luck

    Hi Jetro👋

That's good advice-getting Yourself stocked up in advance, until You can manage without them.

I take it, You've not managed to keep the Quit going for 419 days, but in control now?

Good job Jetro-the Freedom IS worth the Effort

    Stay strong 😃
