Smokefree days: 114 days
Cigarettes NOT smoked: 1140
Total savings: $969.00

So I was just wondering, are we always going to be"quitting" or is there a certain point or specific number of days that would qualify us to be called "non-smokers"?
Whenever I'm offered a cigarette now I always say, "I dont smoke ANYMORE" but do I have to let ppl know I used to smoke or can I just say no thanks and leave it at that?

I kinda don't feel like I am truely a "non smoker" yet because I still get cravings and I still think about ways I might be able to sneak a cigarette in without anyone knowing! Lol

Anyway, I hope everyone had a fabulous xmas and best wishes for the new year! :) :) :)

I am a "non smoker". Today is my day 790 & that is how long i have considered myself to be one. However, i am a ex smoker. You have been a non smoker for 114 days.

All of us who have rid themselves of the need to smoke have had craving & thoughts that they can "sneak" the odd cigarette. We have been successful as we have realised that it is the old addiction trying to get back into our lives. It is these "mind games" that makes it so difficult. But you are on to it & resisted.

Just think, shortly you will be able to say, "I gave up smoking last year, 4 months ago".

A splendid achievement, Well done & all the best for the new year.

This quit time I thought of myself as a non smoker from the last cigarette I smoked, I really think it has made my journey easier in that mindset. My friends all no I don't smoke now so don't offer. Congratulations g1nny you are doing awesome. Keep on rocking and taking it one day at a time with NOPE. Don't forget to treat yourself as you deserve it ⭐

I think we are non- smokers or ex-smokers from the time we stub out our last cigarette. For people i don't know i just say "i don't smoke", for medical staff i call myself an ex-smoker. I don't think it really matters, as long as we're not smoking. Keep going with your fantastic work G1nny.

"do I have to let ppl know I used to smoke" -- Only if you want their support on your journey to smokefreedom or have engaged them as medical practitioners and potential heart or lung damage is relevant to your treatment otherwise it's none of their business.
