Still smokefree, but my bum is starting to fatten up. Argh!!!
For a person who for YEARS always wore size 10... These size 12 clothes are starting to feel really tight. I now need to take a hold on my eating and what I'm eating before it gets out of control.
On my way to the work this morning , I went pass someone who is smoking on the side of the footpath . I am not gonna lie, I still like the smell of the smoke...
To be honest , I rather smell smokes on the road other than those fruity vapes . I guess I am a weird one. lol
Day 1500 Marked
I did hang - in on day 2 and now on day 3 and wow it's even harder!
I seemed to be on top, but now heading downwards.
Feel like day 3 for me has been the hardest, in the car on my way to work this morning I had chewed all my nails off!!
It has also been an emotional day with everyone saying "quit smoking makes you put on weight"
Not going to lie I feel like the gaining weight personally, is a huge if not more of a worry for me than the smoking actually, having been very overweight before and the struggles I went through to lose weight.
Struggling today because I am trying to cope with quitting and VERY worried about gaining weight at the same time..!
Sorry to rant/moan but this is just me being honest!

So I have recently noticed that my appetite has come back 10 fold. My taste buds just love the flavours of food and I know that I am going through a danger zone and potentially compensating no smoking with delicious food. So I've given myself another goal and am now trying to change my lifestyle by eating healthier starting today. Fingers crossed!

Wow, been so busy at work haven't had the chance to get online, but 35 days, past the month, yeah baby!!!! This time of year on the farm is highly stressful but the triggers just aren't there anymore, I'm actually finding I'm dealing with the stress a lot easier without the smokes, feel calmer and more leveled headed. Feeling stronger, healthier and energized every day I am smoke free. 😊
Here I go again, I think 4th or 5th attempt to give up smoking this year. Really really trying to give it up seemed to be always getting sick & my asthma going bizerk. Soo much harder this time, not sure why. Have been going to bed earlier but waking up wanting a smoke. Eating more omg! 😮 Have cut out alcohol & hot drinks as they are my main triggers. My car is offically 9 days smoke free with me 😀 I did start off having lots of energy during the day, now im feeling lazy & tired. Have been using patches but ive developed a rash on my back from them, I dont want to stop using the patches but my back isnt looking great. Zyban, gum & lozengers haven't been of any help. Worried if i stop using the patches i will end up smoking again 😫
Tigger is doing awesome.... and so much of it is due to the incredible support from all you lovely peeps. You bolster, listen and impart advice and wisdom that keep one making each step stronger and determined and a little less stumbling.... I have spent a couple days with my bestie who smokes, and not for one nano second was i tempted! And have inspired her to give quitting a good crack. And I'm stoked!. And the other side of it is the money I'm saving, I've now got extra money for fuel to put in my beasty bike and have been doing so many more rides. Ahhhhhh, life good for this Tigger.
