Hey I am on week 7 of quitting at the moment. It's all going well but I am having some issues with circulation. This happened a few years back on a previous quit attempt as well. I have a pressure kind of pain in my legs and it has caused unexplained bruising as well. It's so painful that it wakes me up at night and usually is eased if I walk around and stretch. Just a bit sick of having to walk around at 4am every morning. Wondering if anyone has had the same thing and how long it lasted?

I've had the same thing and it is terribly painful, it does go away but it takes time, the pain used to wake me at night as well, I wouldn't want to put a time frame on it but I think it was around 3months, hang in there.

Hi ClaireMarie, these 'symptoms' don't sound common to Quitting. In saying this, each person's Quit is unique to them. I know they sound familiar for other complaints, so I would suggest a checkup w Dr.

In the meantime -Well done on reaching almost 50days! Good work, Stay strong 😃

    Take care 🌸

I agree please get a check up for your legs I would of thought stopping smoking would improve circulation due to getting more oxygen in the blood. Give it time you will be overflowing with positives of quitting. Well done on 7 weeks quit!!😊😆💪
