I've been going to bed & sleep a couple of hours early all week, yet I feel really tired. I did have a couple of broken nights but most nights I've slept through.

I've searched for this symptom related to Champix, and the people I've found who report it are experiencing vivid dreams and/or insomnia which I am not getting.

Today's my seventh day off the ciggies, so I'm sticking with Champix no matter what, but I could do with a bit more energy.

Can't help with the champix but 7 days is fantastic. That's a whole WEEK that you never have to do again. Stay strong and keep up the good work.

Hi ya Bruce , I was on Champix last year , and remember felling washed out most of the time , but it only lasted a few weeks . I stayed quit for 10 months , then regretably relapsed . This time me and hubby are on the gum and patches, feeling better this round and at day 68 ! Stick with what ever works for you , you are doing great , 7 days done and dusted

    Woohoo :)

Hi Bruce I was on champix and I was also incredibly fatigued. My doctor had me stop because of this but I also had a few other health issues as well. Apparently fatigue and tiredness is a symptom that effects a small percentage. Good luck champix really helped me get through the start

Thought I would add I did not experience vivid dreams or insomnia. I was just plain exhausted

Feeling sleepy is good ! Better than insomnia ! I rather feeling dizzy all day then being hyperactive. At least it is easier to get through the day. On my 2nd attempt, I felt tired all the time. On my 3rd attempt(this time), I felt hyperactive. I prefer feeling tired, so that I can sleep well. Sleeping well is so important for your physical and mental health.

I am a champix survivor too, basically a zombie with the munchies for a good 3 months, insomnia the works, so well worth every bit of it to be smoke free still now

Hey! Thanks everyone for the support.

"Fatigue", "exhaustion", "washed out" ... definitely. I just hope I can manage with it.

"Dizzy" - possibly what I experienced as mild nausea my first few days on Champix. Largely passed now.

"basically a zombie with the munchies for a good 3 months" - Yikes. I've got the munchies, I hope I can avoid the other part, but if you see me wandering around saying "Brains ... brains .... brains" run :).

Sounds about normal Bruce, the physical symptoms usually pass in a week or two .I used it successfully in 2010 ,but I do remember feeling mentally a bit strange for the whole time.I picked up after the first big shake in chch, and 6 months later tried champix again but it seemed to have no effect the second time, and havnt managed to quit again till now.If your ok on it then go for gold, keep an eye on your moods though especially low moods.one of the symptoms of champix is sometimes very low moods I had my wife keeping an eye on me
